HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya received the WIPO Award for Creative Excellence 2025 from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), presented by Mr. Daren Tang, director-general of WIPO. The award recognizes HRH The Princess’s perseverance and internationally acclaimed capability in the field of intellectual property, including the creation of copyrighted works and trademarks in fashion design. This honor also recognizes her initiatives in promoting the potential of local artisans, and in preserving and sustaining Thai arts, to serve as a tool for the country’s economic development. The WIPO Award for Creative Excellence is a globally recognized award presented to outstanding individuals and organizations around the world whose intellectual property creations have influenced the sustainable development of society, the economy, and culture, in order to inspire artists, artisans, and craftspeople, and inventors and entrepreneurs.
