OTOP Premium 2025
The integration of traditional Thai textiles into contemporary fashion collections has enabled the creation of products with significant cultural and economic value, under the OTOP Premium Product Development Project for Global Markets in Textiles, Garments, and Accessories, Decorations, Souvenirs framework. This initiative bridges unique local wisdom with modern fashion trends, to reach global markets with refined patterns for all ages and occasions.
The Community Development Department, Ministry of Interior, is responsible for developing the grassroots economy by promoting income generation and quality of life through product development under the OneTambon One Product (OTOP) initiative. This project strengthens local knowledge, raises production standards, and builds competitiveness in domestic and international markets, focusing on high-potential products like textiles, household items, decorative items, souvenirs. These products bolster local communities and have strong potential for growth.
This project embraces the royal initiatives Fun with Thai Fabric and Sustainable Fashion, by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, as core concepts in textile and craft product development. The project emphasizes the use of natural materials, waste reduction in production processes, and the preservation of Thai wisdom in contemporary fashion.
