This project strengthens local knowledge, raises production standards, and builds competitiveness in domestic and international markets, focusing on high-potential products like textiles, household items, decorative items, souvenirs. These products bolster local communities and have strong potential for growth.<\/p>\n

The OTOP Premium Product Development Project for Global Markets in Textiles, Garments, and Accessories, Decorations, Souvenirs aims to improve the reach of OTOP producers, with 3-5 star ratings for contemporary products, enabling them to align with global market demands, and to generate sustainable income for communities.<\/p>\n

This project embraces the royal initiatives Fun with Thai Fabric and Sustainable Fashion, by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, as core concepts in textile and craft product development. The project emphasizes the use of natural materials, waste reduction in production processes, and the preservation of Thai wisdom in contemporary fashion.<\/p>\n

A key activity under this project is a capacity-building workshop for 200 OTOP producers from across the country, focusing on the categories of textiles, garments, household items, decorative items, and souvenirs. The workshop is enhanced by the participation of the Fun with Thai Fabric working group, comprising Thai textile development experts, top national designers, natural dye specialists, academics, and professionals in related fields. These instructors integrate knowledge and share experiences in developing contemporary textiles and crafts, in the areas of design, market strategy, cost management, and sustainable business practices \u2013 all of which strengthen community enterprises for global competitiveness.<\/p>\n

The OTOP Premium 2025 : Craft & Creation book features successful textiles and other craft products developed under the project, reflecting the all-round capacity-building of OTOP producers and entrepreneurs.
