The Community Development Department, Ministry of Interior, is committed to preserving and advancing Thai wisdom in the context of contemporary global trends. Guided by the Fun with Thai Fabric and Sustainable Fashion initiatives of HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, artisans connect traditional skills with modern fashion, to create employment and income, and ensure the continuity of this heritage.<\/p>\n

The Kraam International Symposium 2025 \u2013 as part of the Indigo Fabric Development for Global Product Innovation Project \u2013 aims to bring Thai indigo craftsmanship to the global stage, by integrating the expertise of master weavers with contemporary perspectives from leading designers. The symposium\u2019s goal is to foster dialogue among international specialists, and t offer diverse cultural insights into indigo as a symbol connecting cultures, the creative economy, and environmental and economic sustainability.<\/p>\n

The publication of \u201cHANDS ACROSS CULTURE\u201d Kraam International Symposium 2025 by the Community Development Department, Ministry of Interior, documents the symposium\u2019s outcomes.
