This project was launched as a tribute to HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya\u2019s auspicious 3rd <\/sup>Cycle and 36th<\/sup> Birthday Anniversary on January 8, 2023. It focused on four key processes: discussions, brainstorming, collaborations, and benefit distributions, aligning with the work principles of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.
\nMinistry of Interior expands the success of the \u201cOne Tambon One Sustainable Village Project\u201d, with 20,000 subprojects, to the \u201cSustainable Village Project\u201d in 2024, reaching 80,000 villages\/communities to commemorate the 72nd<\/sup> Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua on 28 July 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSustainable Village Project\u201d is driven by 8<\/span> key performance indicators as follows:
\n1. Housing: Ensure durable shelters and hygienic toilets.
\n2. Food Security: Encourage subsistence gardening to align with \u201cBan Nee Mee Ruk Plook Phak Kin Aeng\u201d and \u201cTang Nee Mee Phol Phu Kon Ruk Kan\u201d initiatives.
\n3. Cleanliness: Foster waste management like wet trash can, waste separation from its origin, waste flea market, waste bank, hazardous waste drop-off.
\n4. Harmony: Encourage group formation among community members to help each other.
\n5. Cooperation: Arrange regular meetings for community members to \u201cdiscuss, brainstorm, collaborate and distribute their benefits.\u201d
\n6. Adherence to religious principles, cultural traditions, and loyalty to the monarchy: Organise regular religious activities that align with the faiths and beliefs of community members.
\n7. Safety and Security: Ensure life and property safety, promote drug abstinence, and mitigate risks from electricity, transportation, natural disasters, accidents, and criminal activities.
\n8. Clean Water: Ensure year-round access to clean water through diverse containers, reservoir maintenance, or creating new reservoirs.<\/p>\n

The implementation of \u201cSustainable Village\u201d depends on the dedication of community leaders, especially village headmen and the collaboration of seven network sectors: Public, Religious, Academic, Private, Civil Society, Community and Mass Communications. Together, they integrate subsistence gardening initiatives by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, \u201cBan Nee Mee Ruk Plook Phak Kin Aeng\u201d and \u201cTang Nee Mee Phol Phu Kon Ruk Kan\u201d, along with HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya’s initiatives into people\u2019s daily lives.
